– Extension and renovation –
This recent project in Wye was one of our biggest to date, and involved the construction of a two/one-storey rearextension along with wholesale renovation to the property’s interior.
– Bringing new life to a 1930s cottage –
In March 2020, we began what would be a seven month project to give new life to a 1930s cottage in Wye, Kent.
The project involved the removal of an existing one-storey orangery, to be replaced by a one and two-storey extensions covering the rear of the property. In addition to the extension, wholesale reconfiguration of the property’s internal layout was undertaken. The works involved required input from a number of trades, including bricklayers, carpenters, electricians, plumbers, roofers and tilers, amongst others. At its busiest, over 11 tradesmen were on site during the project.
Despite the challenges that were thrown up during the project – most notably in the form of COVID – the project progressed to plan and deadline, with the clients eventually moving back into the property in October 2020.
