Our clients had recently purchased a charming 1930s detached property in Canterbury that was full of character but in need of a comprehensive modernisation. Tthey were eager to create a comfortable, stylish and functional home that respected the original features while updating it for modern living.
Our Solution
With full access to the empty property, we were able to complete a full internal refurbishment. The works included everything from modernising essential infrastructure such as heating and electrics to creating beautiful, practical living spaces throughout the home. Our team worked closely with the clients to ensure their vision was realised while keeping the project on track and on budget.
Scope of works included
- Complete internal strip-out
- Installation of new heating system and radiators
- Rewiring of the property
- Replacement of lathe and plaster with modern plasterboard, followed by full replastering
- New staircase installation
- Two new bathrooms and a new utility room
- Kitchen prepared for replacement
- New skirting boards and architraves throughout
- Complete internal redecoration
